Hi, my name is Daphne and here is a little bit of information about me and my art.

The Early Years

I have been doing various forms of art since I was a young child and have always loved it. Like any child, I started with a big box of crayons given to me by my parents and grandparents. Most of my art back then was animals, dinosaurs and fantasy based which is not too far off from what it is today.

School and Stuff

Art classes stopped in middle school for me so I had to seek outside sources of training. I attended multiple art classes while going thru high school, including drawing fundamentals and lots of anatomy classes.

Once I graduated high school I attended NBCC Miramichi where I took Art Fundamentals / Animation. After a brief introduction into animation I decided that it was not the art career that I wanted to pursue and put more efforts into traditional art. I received a Art Fundamentals Diploma and decided I wanted to further my education so I signed up for completing my Fine Art Degree from the University of Ottawa.

In those 4 years I took multiple art courses from photography to art history and painting. I developed my own unique style primarily thru acrylic painting. I graduated with honors and it was truly some of the best years of my life.

My Professional Career

After school was complete I tutored art at my local Community College and helped others achieve their goals. I also taught 1 on 1 and small group art classes. My community had a art group which I also joined and eventually become the president of, helping establish art in my local town.

In that time, I started working at a local fitness company and evolved my inner geek. The first convention I attended was Hal-Con and I was hooked! It was there that I met some local furries and was invited to join their Atlantic Community and from there I started to focus my art on more anthropomorphic characters. This has turned into more than a passion, it has turned into a bustling career.

At the Current

Today you will find me balancing my life between being a professional artist and enjoying the Furry & Cryptid Fandoms. I’m married to a wonderful man, Step Mother to two amazing children and Dog Mom to our French Bulldog, Hank. I really want to thank all my fans and supporters over the years who have helped me achieve my dreams and thank you for taking the time to read thru all this fun stuff.
